The green mountain farm house
Green Mountain Farm House is an eco friendly farm house located at an elevation of 1400 Meters above the MSL, surrounded by mist capped mountains and evergreen dense forests with flora and fauna, of Western Ghats lying in the southern side of Waynad District of Kerala State. The Farm House is situated at Kalladi near Soochippara water falls, about 20 kms away from Kalpetta, the headquarters of wayanad and also from the Calicut – Bangalore Highway (NH212). It takes hardly two and half drive by car from the Calicut airport and two hours from the nearest railway station – Calicut. Wayanad is known for its variety of flora and fauna, wild animals, orchids, rose wood, iron wood, sandalwood, tea, coffee,spices, Paddy etc. For celebrating the monsoon festival we have arranged Rain Bath in our Farm house. It is a golden chance to experience the real charm of monsoon season in Kerala.
