Wayanad is a notable tourist destination in Kerala due to its exotic location. Wayanad is known as the green haven of god’s own country. . During the last decade tourism in Wayanad have gained much importance in the tourism scenario. National geographic declared Wayanad as one among the fifty must see destinations in the world. The number of tourists who visits Wayanad is increasing year by year. The musical  rains attract tourists to the district during monsoon. The monsoons (June-September & October-November) and summer (February-May) are the seasons markedly experienced here, while winter is only a slight drop in temperature from the normal range of 28-32⁰C .
